This was our first trip to Rome, and we wanted to make the most of every moment. We were hesitant to book a one-day tour of Rome - how could you possibly capture the essence of such a vast, layered city in just a few hours?

But Sylvia not only accomplished it - she gave us one of the most memorable days of our lives. Sylvia had organized a car to pick us up at the port and our driver Emiliano was really friendly and he took us to Rome in no time. From the moment we met Sylvia at the edge of Piazza Venezia, Sylvia radiated calm confidence. What stood out most wasn’t just her knowledge - it was her sensitivity. She noticed when we needed a slower moment or when we were quietly taking in something spiritual or beautiful. She gave space when needed and depth when asked. Walking through Rome with Sylvia wasn’t about checking boxes. It was about feeling the heartbeat of the city - in its ancient stones, in its fountains, in its quiet backstreets. And by the end of the day, we didn’t feel like tourists. We felt like temporary Romans.
