Rome Caput Mundi Tour
Rome 2000 years ago was called Caput Mundi-the head of the world, because here was the seat of the Emperor who dictated law for the whole Mediterranean Area, the Roman world.
The Roman Forum was the centre of political and cultural life back in the days of glory.
Many temples to the more than 100 pagan gods are still visible, even though I need to help you to reconstruct them and immagigine the grandious aspect the temples had in the past.
With this tour we also visit the Colosseum - or better the amphitheatre -that’s the name used when it was inaugurated year 80 AD. 400 years of gladiator fights took place here, 75000 spectators had space in the largest amphitheater built 2000 years ago.
This tour is meant to give you a full immersion into life in Ancient Rome, telling the truth about the gladiators, legionaries, slaves, Roman citizens, their religion and more.
There is a lot to learn and a lot of Myth to debate.
Believe me, Nero has never seen the Colosseum. But the idea makes me smile.
